Samosa

Ingredients :

Myda 1 cup
Oil to fry 4 cups
For the filling
Potato Boiled and mashed 2
Onion chopped 1,
Green chilies 2
Ginger 1/2 t/s
Coriander Powder 1/2 t/s
Lemon juice 1/2 t/s
Garam masala 1/2 t/s
Chili Powder 1 t/s
Turmeric Powder 1/2 t/s
Salt to taste.

Method :

Take Myda in a container, add 2 t/s of warm oil, mix with water,
It should be hard dough, do not add too much of water,
Cover the dough with cloth and keep aside for 15 to 20 minutes ,
Beat on surface, knead and recover,
Heat 2 tbl/s of Oil, add ginger,greenchillies, coriander , stir it fry well,
Add onion, fry till brown,
Add coriander, lemon, turmeric powder, salt, redchilli powder, garam masala,
After 2 minutes add potato and mix it well.
Cool it and keep aside.
Take the dough make a thin round, cut into 2 halves,
with help of your finger press the edges to make a cone,
Fill the cone with the prepared stuffing and seal the third side of the cone,
fry on medium or low flame till golden brown,
Keep these samosas on a plate with a paper,
serve with Chutney, Tomato sauce etc.
Instead of frying it , all you can also heat the samosas in the oven.
