Hare
Cute hares from hard-boiled eggs complement palatable “lawns” made from fresh vegetables, cold meats or fish.Peel an egg and cut off a thin slice longwise from one side. Make the “ears” from that slice, cutting out a V-shaped piece. Make a cut in the egg top to put the ears in. Draw the eyes with tomato paste and the whiskers – with mustard and make a tail with mayonnaise.
Shrimp cocktail
This shrimp cocktail will serve a perfect appetizer.
Take a tall glass and fill the half with chopped lettuce. Pour over cocktail-sauce (mix mayonnaise with some ketchup, a tablespoon of cognac and cream). Peel shrimps till the head. Arrange the shrimps on the glass border so that the tails were in the sauce and the heads out of the glass. Slice lemon in a beautiful way and decorate the border.
Rose
Elegant butter rose is a must on a dish with smoked salmon, ham, sausages and cheese.Take a pack of butter, cut off a small corner and shape it in hands to make the pistil. From the pack cut out the cylinder with one truncated side. Slice it finely into half rounds. And shape a petal from every round. First petals should be pinched to the pistil. Then attach the others and put the rose in a fridge.
Vegetable salad decoration
Put prepared salad in a salad bowl, season and dress with sour cream (mayonnaise) and arrange as a hill.
Pour over dressing and sprinkle chopped greens. Top with a crown made from an egg half. For that, peel an egg and cut into halves in a zigzag way. The egg must not be overcooked, as such yolk gets dark very quickly.
Decorate the sides of a “hill” with lettuce leaves or parsley greens.
Fish salad decoration
Put dressed salad in a salad bowl and arrange as a hill. Decorate every side of a “hill” with salmon and sturgeon slices. Between the slices, make a thin ornament with mayonnaise from a paste bag.
Top with a “tulip” which petals are from butter and put in caviar. Place thin slices of cucumber or radish around the “hill”.
Decoration of sausages and mashed potatoes
Put mashed potatoes in the center of an oval dish and even the sides with a spoon dipped in melted butter. Put into a pleated shape with a spoon. Pour over melted butter and put sausages by sides.
Decorate with cucumber and tomato slices and greens.
Beefsteak decoration
Cut potatoes into strips and fry in large quantity of oil. Fry an egg and fry beefsteak until light brown on every side.
Make potato bouquets on every side of a metal dish and put a beefsteak between two “bouquets”. Place a fried egg with a spatula carefully on a beefsteak. Sprinkle with ground pepper and chopped parsley.
Arrange cucumber slices and a pinch of peas around the beefsteak.
Chop decoration
Put potato fries, peas and carrot slices along a round metal dish. Place a chop near the garnish and arrange diced lightly salted cucumber in a beautiful way.
