Sour Cream Cake #2
Ingredient :
6 Eggs
1/2 pound butter -- softened
1 cup sour cream
3 cups sugar
3 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon soda
1 Pinch salt
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon extract
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons brown sugar
Nut -- if desired
Method :
Separate eggs and beat separately.
Cream soft butter, sour cream, and sugar. Add egg yolks, vanilla and
lemon extract.
Sift flour, soda, and salt together. Add egg whites. mix well.
Add butter mixture and flour mixture together.
Pour 1/2 of batter in tube pan.
Mix cinnamon, brown sugar and nuts together. Sprinkle on top of batter
in tube pan.
Pour remaining batter over top and bake at 350 degrees. Test for
doneness.
