Sock-It-To-Me Cake #1
Ingredient :
3 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups sugar
2 sticks butter
1/2 pint sour cream
6 Eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoons cinnamon
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Method :
Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, 1 at a time, creaming until mixture is
light in color.
Sift together flour, salt and soda; set aside.
Add sour cream to creamed mixture. Add flour mixture and vanilla; mix
well.
Pour half of batter into greased and floured tube pan; sprinkle with
cinnamon, brown sugar and nuts.
Pour in remaining batter.
Bake at 350 degrees 1 1/2 hours.
Let stand in pan 3 minutes before removing
